The East Lake Lofts (Opened September, 2002) is one Oakland's newest loft developements. Its charming brick facade and spectacular units make it a fantastic place to live. No two lofts are the same, each has its own unique character and charm. The lofts are located in one of the most convenient locations in the East Bay. It is walking distance to the Lake Merritt Bart, HWY 880, the Oakland Museum, Laney College, and Lake Merritt.
Recently, the common areas have been remodeled and updated, with new paint, stained floors and artwork creating a more modern atmosphere. While many units are currently for sale (See www.eastlakelofts.com the owners have decided to release several units for rent. These lofts may be great for somebody looking to get a taste of loft ownership or somebody who is in need of a great live/work loft to rent.
